Four different generations are now willing and able to support your organization, and each has different preferences about everything from giving channels, to communication, to reporting. One thing remains the same—people give to people. The youngest of these generations has no problem receiving a solicitation through Facebook yet still responds to traditional mail as their grandparents did. Whether you “like” it or not, you need to understand the way these shifts are affecting our strategies.
